One might have seen the promising chemistry between them when Abhishek Bachchan handed over the Filmfare’s Best Sensational Female Debut to Asin early this year. The instant might also have inspired director Ashutosh Gowariker to cast them together for his next venture Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se. The film is inspired from Chittagong Uprising and is set to shot in Goa. It has got 60 days schedule in Goa. Shooting for it will start from November 3.
However Abhishek might fly back and forth to Mumbai on weekends to be with wife Aishwarya and to promote his upcoming Paa. We also heard that Jr. Bachchan misses his parents too when he is away for long time. Spending time with his loving parents keeps the actor in good mood
Asin recently showcased her sweet gesture by sharing a story which was happened on the sets of London Dreams. Actually it was a prank played on her and may be the mind behind it none other than the great Bollywood prankster Ajay Devgan.
Asin said, “I was about to leave my van for a shot when this tall, African guy barged into my van and started shouting and being aggressive. But, I just didn’t react and allowed him to go on making noise. After a while he got tired of it and didn’t know what to do. He expected that I would either get upset and start crying or start shouting at him. But, I didn’t do any of that. I told him that if he was done he could leave my van. He laughed and said that the guys outside had asked him to carry out this act. I couldn’t figure out who tried to pull the stunt, but Ajay was the one who looked the most disappointed amongst them all.”
With her popularity post Ghajini, Asin has been selected by a retail chain to endorse their product. Also cricketer M.S. Dhoni will be seen opposite her for its advertisement.
Asin and Dhoni both have done many endorsements till date, while there is buzz that Asin is earning more from her endorsements than films. Today she is the face for seven big products in India. However, Dhoni is also working with actors like John Abraham, Saif Ali Khan and Bipasha Basu.
Soon, Dhoni and Asin will appear in the ad for a popular brand of retail super market Big Bazaar. Big Bazaar, which is a part of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd, a Future Group Enterprise has its 100 stores spread all around India. Asin had completed photoshoot for it and waiting for Dhoni to come back his New Zealand tour to shot ad for it.
Considering the on screen chemistry of Asin and Aamir in Ghajini as well as Asin’s popularity after the film, the DTH giant is about to replace Gul Panag with Asin Thottumkal in its new Tata Sky ad. For the new ad Aamir has already set to bear a Sardar look, what Asin will be going to do it not yet finalized.
The ad is soon going to be aired and will appear widely during the upcoming IPL cricket matches.
Aamir took special interest for the ad from the beginning as he is involved in its costumes, dialogues, make up and background music. There is also news that it was Aamir who insisted Asin for the ad.
Well once again Aamir has proved that he is a great businessman and will do anything to sell his product.
In the recent times the Ghajini actress, Asin has seen throwing lot of weight around. Meanwhile secret of her fitness is not Yoga or Suryanamskars but it’s her ghar ka khaana. The actress even carrying a tiffin from home to the sets of shooting.
“I don’t eat out often. Even when I am shooting, I get my dabba from home,” says Asin.
But she is not depriving anything from her food. Asin adds, “I like sweets, but usually have just a bite or two. Also, I eat breakfast as early as possible.”
