Amrita Arora has finally decided to settle down
Actress Amrita Arora has finally decided to settle down as she had planned to wed boyfriend Shakeel Ladhak this March. It will be a three day affair. Starting on 4th March the couple will exchange the wedding rings at Bandra Church. Her Bollywood best friend Kareena Kapoor and make-up artist Mallika Bhatt will be bridesmaid at the event, while sister Malaika Arora will be the maid of honor.
Followed by 4th March, on 5th March there will be sangeet ceremony arranged by Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Agnihotri. It will also include a musical skit choreographed by Farah Khan.
On last day, 6th March, they will wed according to Muslim tradition i.e. Nikaah ceremony followed by a grand reception party at Taj Lands End Hotel, Bandra. Approximately 500 guests are invited from the film fraternity.
Designer Ashley Rebello has designed the dresses for bridesmaids and Amrita’s wedding gown. However the groom’s dress is designed by Shantanu-Nikhil. They also have designed Amrita’s lenhanga. Meanwhile the outfit for her mehandi ceremony is designed by designer Manish Malhotra. The renowned wedding planner Ravi Bakru has been hired to organize the event. Her jewellery is designed by AK Motiwala.
Amrita said, “It had been so long since all of us spent time together. We all have been busy working on our films and shows, and we hardly get to meet. And, even if we did meet, it was for never for more than a few hours. So, when Malaika told me that she and Arbaaz were heading to Goa, Shakeel and I also found the perfect reason to spend some family time together. And yes, all of us not only had a mini-vacation but got a little closer as a family too!”
Well is this something related to Amrita’s tying knot with Shakeel?. Who knows next time they have the same family union in Goa for her wedding.
